About the clinic
Samraksha Chest & Allergy Precision Clinics is an advanced pulmonology and respiratory care centre established in 2021, with the aim of providing specialised chest and critical care services close to home.
With a reputation for precision-based respiratory care, the clinic has expanded to a second centre while keeping the same commitment to quality, ethics and compassionate healthcare.
Located at Reddy & Reddy’s Colony in Tirupati, on the second floor above Crystal Diagnostic Centre, the centre is designed to evaluate and manage lung disease, sleep disorders, allergies and respiratory emergencies under one roof.
Our goal is to combine expertise, innovation and advanced technology to improve respiratory health and quality of life for the people of Rayalaseema.
Our mission
Academics & recognition
Teaching, and being taught
Respiratory medicine moves quickly. Presenting at conferences and sitting in the audience at them is how the care offered here stays current.
Latest academic session
Lung transplantation and ECMO
A session on the two things that are offered when the lung itself has run out of room: who should be considered and who should not, what the evidence supports, and — the part that decides outcomes — when to refer. Dr. K. Aneef Basha moderated.
The lung transplantation talk, “When and How”, was given by Dr Pavan Yadav, Clinical Director of Pulmonology Services at the KIMS Heart & Lung Transplant Institute, Bangalore.
Referral timing is the practical point for anybody living with advanced lung disease. An assessment is worth starting well before it becomes urgent, and the decisions around ECMO are made in hours rather than weeks. Knowing where both thresholds sit is a large part of what a chest physician brings home from a session like this one.
What it covered
- Indications: who a transplant assessment is for
- Contraindications: who it is not for, and why
- What the evidence shows
- When to refer, and how early
- ECMO: where it fits alongside a transplant pathway
What sets us apart
Advanced technology
EBUS, cryotherapy, airway stenting and a full PFT lab, available in Rayalaseema rather than a city away.
Evidence-based care
Current respiratory guidelines applied honestly, including when the right answer is to do less.
Patient-centric approach
Time to explain the diagnosis, the plan and the cost before anything is started.
Continuum of care
The same team from OPD to ICU and back, so nothing is lost in the handover.
